Forever Young

Her voice is breathless answering my
call, 'Good morning!'

'Is everything alright? It took quite
a few rings...'

'Oh, yes. I was out starting the car.
It's too cold and snowy to run it
cold.'

I imagine her energy melting a path
right to her car. 'Well, glad I
caught you... where you headed?'

'I have a patient to care for, then
thought I'd walk awhile at the Rec
Center.'

I smile. 'You're a young 71! Happy
Birthday, mom...'

Oh how wonderful! Amen to your Mom!!! =:o)

Thank you for stopping by my blog and for the kind compliments on our lil baby Wicky poo. He really is something else and lets just say, if you have not owned this breed before you are in for a real treat!

Wick really does need a lot of love and attention. If I start to do something and he feels it's still "his" time he will come up to me and continue to slap me with his paw until I give in and pick him up lol. It's hard not to baby him that's for sure.

I would love for you to keep me posted should you get a Brussels!
